Welcome to it’s a full nest! So glad you are here.
Kanesha has a live in mother-in-law (granny nanny) and blogs about adventures in multigenerational-ville.
it’s a full nest is a comfy space that offers humorous, raw, informative and honest support about living in a multigenerational household (MGH).
it’s a full nest aims to support families that subscribe to the “new”clear approach in raising a family. The overall perspective is living with parents/in-laws is a CHOICE rather than a forced situation and Kanesha spills her guts about how it all goes down.
Kanesha is a life coach, educator, crafter & lover of GNO (girls’ night out).
Kanesha has been married since 1998 and has two children, ages 12 and 4. Kanesha’s mother-in-law has lived with her family since 2007.
In addition to blogging about her multigenerational experiences, Kanesha coaches families and individual clients on work/life balance, working parent guilt, SAHM transitions, and how millennials* can successfully launch into adulthood without scaring their parents.
Kanesha also blogs for Working Mother Magazine. Her blogging has attracted national attention and she has been a guest on WVON 1690-AM Chicago and the syndicated Mom Talk Radio with Maria Bailey.

Love your family members for who they are, their gifts, contributions, and shortcomings. We’re all doing the best we can, and when we aren’t – that’s when we need the most love and understanding.-K. Baynard |
